Notice of Public Comment Period
The Town of Mineral Planning Commission is considering approving an update to the Mineral Comprehensive Plan, and recommending that the Mineral Town Council adopt the amended Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing will be held on May 23rd, 2024, at the Planning Commission Meeting to explain the process for the plan update, discuss the proposed amendment, and consider recommendation to the Town Council. The Town invites all interested citizens to comment on the draft update to the Mineral Comprehensive Plan. The draft plan is available for review at the following locations:

• Mineral's Administrative Building: 312 Mineral Avenue
How to Comment:
• Mail: Your comments to the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission at 401 E Water Street, Charlottesville, VA.

• Public Hearing: May 23rd, 6:30pm at 312 Mineral Avenue, Mineral, VA 23117
• Survey: Complete the draft plan survey available on the TJPDC website (link above) by May 23rd.
